AIDA
This project isn't publicly available, but here's a summary
Many children enter their first year of school behind compared to their peers due to a host of factors. Once these children are behind, it's very difficult for them to catch up to their peers and this effect continues throughout their academic career.
AIDA is a reading tool designed to bridge the achievement gap. Led by a team of data scientists and developmental psychologists, AIDA utilizes research-backed literacy strategies to empower shared book reading so children can build foundational reading skills and achieve academic success.
I am working in a cross-functional team as a full stack UX designer and business analyst to investigate and flesh out the user experience of AIDA before the product gets shipped. I'm working on everything from the onboarding sequence to the core feature loop. This project has been incredibly fulfilling and has taught me how to draft research plans, execute them, and turn those insights into action. Additionally, I have learned more about the relationship about handing off prototypes to developers.
